Regenicin, Inc, formerly Windstar, Inc., is a development-stage company. The Company develops and commercializes a lifesaving technology by the introduction of tissue-engineered skin substitutes to restore the healthy human skin for use in the treatment of burns, chronic wounds and a variety of plastic surgery procedures. The Company has entered into an agreement with Lonza Walkersville, Inc. (Lonza) for the license to use certain know-how and information necessary to develop and seek approval by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the commercial sale of a product known as PermaDerm. The two product lines of the Company are PermaDerm, and TempaDerm. PermaDerm is a tissue-engineered skin substitute prepared from autologous (patients own) skin cells. TempaDerm is a cultured skin graft for use in the treatment of chronic cutaneous wounds, which skin grafts contain allogeneic skin cells that are rejected or eliminated from the recipient after transplantation.
