GLG Life Tech Corporation is an integrated producer of stevia extract, a natural sweetener extracted from the stevia plant. The Company specializes in the research and development, growing, refining, and production of stevia extract for distribution to the global food and beverage industry. It has a production capacity of 1,000 metric tons of stevia extract of rebaudioside A 80% purity (RA 80) or 500 metric tons of stevia extract of rebaudioside A 97% purity (RA 97). The Company sells its stevia extract to Cargill, Incorporated (Cargill), an international provider of food, agricultural and risk management products and services. Cargill further refines the Company's stevia extract to rebaudioside A 97% purity for use in its natural, zero-calorie sweetener brand, TRUVIA. The Company's processing facilities have a combined annual throughput of 41,000 metric tons of stevia leaf. In July 2011, the Company incorporated a subsidiary AN0C Stevia Solutions Company Limited.
