AMERCO is the holding Company for U-Haul International, Inc., Amerco Real Estate Company, Republic Western Insurance Company and Oxford Life Insurance Company. The Company is North Americas do-it-yourself moving and storage operator through its subsidiary U-Haul International, Inc. (U-Haul). U-Haul is engaged in supplying products and services to help people move and store their household and commercial goods. The Company rents its distinctive orange and white U-Haul trucks and trailers, as well as offers self-storage rooms through a network of over 1,400 Company operated retail moving centers and approximately 14,900 independent U-Haul dealers. In addition, it has an independent storage facility network with over 5,100 active affiliates. The Company has three segments: Moving and Storage (Amerco, U-Haul and Amerco Real Estate Company (Real Estate)), Property and Casualty Insurance, and Life Insurance.
